Thanks for having your say on Kerbside Rubbish & Recycling in Lower Hutt - feedback closed on Sunday 16 August. On 28 August, we’ll be holding hearings for people to present their submission to the Mayor and Councillors. Council will then make a decision on rubbish and recycling on 15 September.
Kia ora, thanks for joining the conversation. We have some options to make kerbside rubbish and recycling better in Lower Hutt, and we want to know what you think.
You may remember we asked you about waste earlier in the year. We listened to your feedback and are now proposing four options for kerbside rubbish collection, and a solution for recycling and green waste.
It’s important you feel informed about what these options will mean for your household.
Once you're ready, tell us which option you prefer. Simply go to the feedback form and have your say.
Council will meet on 15 September 2020 and will use your feedback to help make a decision on which option we'll go with. We’re aiming for the new system to be in place by 1 July 2021.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia Other collaborative online encyclopedias were attempted before Wikipedia, but none were as successful.[13] Wikipedia began as a complementary project for Nupedia, a free online English-language encyclopedia project whose articles were written by experts and reviewed under a formal process.[14] It was founded on March 9, 2000, under the ownership of Bomis, a web portal company. Its main figures were Bomis CEO Jimmy Wales and Larry Sanger, editor-in-chief for Nupedia and later Wikipedia.[15][16] Nupedia was initially licensed under its own Nupedia Open Content License, but even before Wikipedia was founded, Nupedia switched to the GNU Free Documentation License at the urging of Richard Stallman.[17] Wales is credited with defining the goal of making a publicly editable encyclopedia,[18][19] while Sanger is credited with the strategy of using a wiki to reach that goal.[20] On January 10, 2001, Sanger proposed on the Nupedia mailing list to create a wiki as a "feeder" project for Nupedia.[21]
